User Data Deletion
Request deletion of personal information, account data, content or connected-service data held by YourLocalPage.
Last updated: 2 October 2026
These instructions apply across YourLocalPage's website, platform, content and commerce services, forms, support, AI tools and third-party integrations, including Facebook and Instagram. You do not need to have connected a social account to request deletion.
1. Send a deletion request
Email hello@yourlocalpage.com with the subject User data deletion - YourLocalPage. You can request deletion even if you cannot sign in or have already removed the app.
- Provide the email address used with YourLocalPage and, if known, your business or workspace name.
- Identify the information or service involved, such as an account, website, form submission, order, uploaded file or integration. If your request relates to Facebook or Instagram, provide the Page name or Instagram username; an account ID is helpful if available, but is not required.
- Tell us whether you want particular records deleted, data from a specific integration removed, or your entire YourLocalPage account and associated personal information deleted.
Do not send passwords, access tokens or unnecessary identity documents. We may ask for limited additional information to verify your identity or authority over the account. If you no longer have access to your original email address, explain that in your request so we can arrange an alternative verification method.
2. Stop connected services where needed
If you use an integration, disconnect it using the available YourLocalPage controls or revoke YourLocalPage's permissions in the provider's account settings. Review active workflows before removal, because disconnection can interrupt publishing, synchronisation or other services.
Facebook and Instagram connections
To stop future access, remove YourLocalPage from your Facebook settings under Business integrations or Apps and websites, as applicable. For a direct Instagram connection, remove it under Instagram's Apps and websites settings or Website permissions. Menu names may vary. You can also disconnect the account in YourLocalPage's social account settings.
Removing access or disconnecting does not by itself delete all data already stored by YourLocalPage. Send the deletion request above to have that data addressed.
3. What we delete
We assess the records within your verified request and delete the associated personal information that we are not required to retain. Depending on your request and the services used, this may include account and profile information, contact and form submissions, uploaded content, customer or order data, support correspondence, AI prompts and files, and integration records. An account closure request covers associated personal information across the services used, subject to the limitations below.
For a verified Meta-related deletion request, we remove the associated stored connection credentials and account identifiers, and delete personal information received from Facebook or Instagram and associated integration records, including relevant publishing history and cached data, unless retention is legally required. A request limited to one integration does not close your entire YourLocalPage account. Tell us if you also want drafts, uploaded media, other service records or the entire account deleted. We will confirm the scope with you where needed, particularly for shared business workspaces.
We apply the request to relevant service providers acting on our behalf. Information retained solely because the law requires it is restricted to that purpose, and we explain any applicable exception. Copies in backups are removed through the backup retention cycle and must not be restored for ordinary use after a deletion request has been completed.
If your information belongs to a business using YourLocalPage, such as a store where you placed an order, identify that business in your request. We may need to direct the request to it or act on its instructions. We verify authority before deleting shared workspace records and do not remove other people's information without a valid basis. Records that must be retained for legal obligations, such as applicable accounting requirements, are explained in our response.
4. Timing and confirmation
We process verified requests without undue delay and aim to complete them within 30 days, subject to any shorter applicable deadline. If identity verification, complexity or a legal obligation affects completion, we will explain the reason and expected timing. We send confirmation to your verified contact address when the request is completed, including any retention exceptions. You can reply to your request email to ask for an update.
5. What this does not delete
This process concerns data held by YourLocalPage and providers processing it on our behalf. It does not close accounts with independent third parties or automatically remove information they hold under their own policies. For example, it does not delete your Facebook or Instagram account or automatically remove posts already published there; manage those directly on the relevant platform. Deletion may make content unavailable or stop account features, integrations and scheduled actions. Closing your account does not cancel legal obligations relating to existing transactions.
6. Contact and related policies
YourLocalPage Pty Ltd handles these requests at hello@yourlocalpage.com. See our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service for more information.
