Overview
YourLocalPage, also called YLP, provides content management, commerce, AI automation, media management, forms, and social publishing tools for businesses and website operators.
This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and how users can contact us about their information. It applies to yourlocalpage.com, the YLP admin platform, public APIs, and connected integrations such as Facebook and Instagram publishing.
Information we collect
We collect information needed to provide and secure the service. Depending on how YLP is used, this may include:
- Account information such as name, email address, role, site membership, and authentication details.
- Website and CMS data such as pages, entries, media, products, categories, forms, orders, and settings created or managed by users.
- Technical data such as IP address, browser details, device information, request logs, diagnostics, and security events.
- Integration data such as connected account identifiers, platform names, authorized scopes, token expiry, and publishing status.
- AI generation data such as prompts, configuration, generated drafts, job status, token usage, warnings, and billing metadata.
How we use information
We use information to operate, secure, improve, and support YLP. This includes:
- Providing CMS, commerce, media, forms, API, AI, billing, and social publishing features.
- Authenticating users, enforcing roles and permissions, and preventing abuse.
- Generating drafts, campaigns, images, videos, metadata, reports, and workflow outputs requested by users.
- Connecting to third-party services authorized by users, including Meta, payment providers, email services, media storage, and marketplace integrations.
- Monitoring reliability, debugging issues, responding to support requests, and complying with legal obligations.
Retention and security
We retain information for as long as needed to provide the service, support customer operations, meet legal or accounting requirements, resolve disputes, and maintain security. Connected account tokens are encrypted at rest.
No online service can guarantee absolute security, but we use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational controls to protect information from unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or disclosure.
User choices and deletion
Users can update account, site, content, and integration settings inside the YLP admin interface. Users can disconnect social accounts to revoke future publishing from YLP.
To request deletion of personal information, connected social account data, or other platform data, contact us using the email below. We may need to retain limited information where required by law, billing, security, or legitimate business obligations.
Contact
Questions about this page, connected social accounts, privacy requests, data deletion, or Meta app review can be sent to sales@yourlocalpage.com.
Facebook and Instagram data
When a user connects Facebook or Instagram through Meta OAuth, YLP requests only the permissions needed to list eligible Pages, identify linked Instagram professional accounts, and create or manage posts when the user enables social publishing.
YLP may store encrypted access tokens, Page IDs, Page names, Instagram professional account IDs, usernames, scopes, expiry dates, and publishing results. We use this information only to show connection status, let users choose where to publish, create drafts, publish approved or auto-enabled campaign content, retry failed publishing, and display post status.
YLP does not sell Facebook or Instagram data. Users can disconnect a social account from the YLP admin interface at any time. Disconnecting prevents future publishing through that account.
