Terms of Service

1. These terms

These terms govern your use of the YourLocalPage website and services provided by YourLocalPage Pty Ltd, including content management, commerce, forms, APIs, AI tools, integrations and managed services where included in your plan or agreement. By using the services, you agree to these terms. If you act for a business, you must be authorised to bind that business. A separately agreed service contract takes precedence to the extent it conflicts with these terms.

2. Accounts and authorised use

Provide accurate account information, protect your credentials and allow access only to authorised people. You are responsible for activity you authorise in your workspace. Notify us at hello@yourlocalpage.com if you suspect unauthorised access. You must have the legal capacity and authority to use our business services.

3. Third-party services and integrations

You may enable supported services such as payment processing, commerce connections or social publishing. Connect only accounts you are authorised to manage and grant only permissions needed for your intended use. You authorise us to process and transmit information needed to carry out your instructions. Third-party terms, fees and privacy policies apply to those providers, and changes to their services may affect connected features.

Facebook and Instagram

You may connect only Pages and professional accounts you own or are authorised to manage. By connecting an account and instructing us to publish, you authorise YourLocalPage to use the permissions granted to carry out those instructions, including scheduled publishing. Review destinations, content and schedules before authorising publication.

You remain responsible for complying with applicable Meta, Facebook and Instagram terms and content rules. Permissions, account eligibility, review decisions, API limits and platform changes may affect availability. YourLocalPage is an independent service and is not endorsed by Meta. We do not guarantee uninterrupted third-party access, publication, reach or engagement.

4. Your content

You retain your rights in content you submit. You grant us permission to store, process, display and transmit that content as necessary to provide your requested services, including hosting your website, managing commerce and forms, providing support and delivery to connected platforms. This permission does not transfer ownership of your content to us. You must hold the necessary rights and consents. Review AI-assisted content for accuracy, rights and suitability before publishing.

YourLocalPage retains its rights in its software, branding and service materials. Your subscription or agreement permits use of the service within its agreed scope; it does not transfer ownership of the platform. Third-party materials remain subject to their owners' rights.

5. Acceptable use

Do not use the service for unlawful content, infringement, impersonation, spam, harassment, unauthorised data collection, attempts to bypass platform permissions, or interference with security. Do not submit information or connect accounts without the authority to do so. When operating a website, store or form through YourLocalPage, you are responsible for your products, fulfilment, customer communications, applicable taxes, required notices and necessary consents. Unless separately agreed, your customers transact with your business, and you are responsible for handling their orders, refunds and disputes.

6. Plans and service changes

Fees, billing intervals, renewal and cancellation conditions are those disclosed in your order or agreed service contract. Any applicable usage limits, support scope, migration deliverables and service commitments are those agreed for your plan. Cancellation and refunds are governed by those disclosed conditions and any rights you have under applicable law. We may update features and integrations and will provide notices required by your agreement or applicable law. Website descriptions and estimates do not replace an agreed scope of work.

7. Privacy, disconnection and deletion

Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle information. You can disconnect connected accounts and revoke permissions through the relevant platform. Follow our User Data Deletion instructions to request deletion of stored data or account closure. Disconnecting does not automatically erase stored service records or publishing history. Deleting data from YourLocalPage does not automatically remove information already sent to independent providers, including posts published to Facebook or Instagram; manage that information on the relevant platform.

8. Suspension and termination

You may stop using the service and request account closure by contacting us. We may suspend or terminate access where necessary to address a breach, security risk, legal requirement or a third-party platform restriction. Where reasonably possible, we will explain the reason and steps to resolve it. Data handling after termination follows our privacy and deletion policies and applicable legal obligations.

9. Responsibility and consumer rights

We take reasonable care in providing the service, but cannot promise that it will be error-free or meet every particular purpose. You are responsible for reviewing content, commerce settings, automation and publishing instructions, and maintaining copies of important content. AI outputs may be inaccurate or unsuitable and require your review before use. Planned support or migration work remains subject to the scope and responsibilities in your service agreement. Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded, including applicable Australian Consumer Law guarantees.
